Accessibility statement

Helmate works to keep the website and app usable for people with disabilities, under Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568 at Level AA (based on WCAG 2.0).

1. What this covers

• The public site at helmate.ai.
• The browser app at app.helmate.ai.
• The phone app also follows the device’s built-in tools (read-aloud, larger text, contrast).

2. What we provide

• Keyboard use, including a skip-to-content link at the start of each page.
• A clear focus mark when you move between buttons and links.
• Hebrew and English, including right-to-left layout in Hebrew.
• Text alternatives for photos on the public site.
• A free open-source accessibility toolbar (Sienna) for larger text, contrast, stopping motion, and more. The toolbar does not replace accessible page structure.
• In the app: named buttons for screen readers, and system text-size support.

3. Known limits

• Files you upload (plans, photos, documents) may not be fully readable by a screen reader.
• Some dense tables and screens in the app are still being improved.
• The toolbar helps with look and reading; it does not by itself fix every button or form.
